SUMMARY:Set for School 2026
DESCRIPTION:In February 2026\, we walked into three public primary schools with one clear goal: make sure children return to school without the fear of being sent home. \nAcross LEA Karonmaji\, LEA Damangaza\, and LEA Durumi II\, we identified pupils whose families were struggling to keep up with school fees. By the end of the three-day intervention\, 80 pupils had their school fees fully paid for the year and received basic school supplies to support their learning. \nFor many of these children\, it meant something simple but powerful\, staying in class. \nNo embarrassment.\nNo interruption.\nNo sitting at home because of unpaid fees. \nSet for School is not just about materials. It’s about dignity. It’s about stability. It’s about ensuring that financial hardship does not cut short a child’s education. \nWhen children feel secure in school\, they learn better. And that’s where futures begin.
